I saw TB with Fantomas here in Italy some days ago, and he was playing a "smaller" version of this kit (mind you, he had TON of drums and cymbals; my non-drumming friends were amazed when I told them that his regular kit is much bigger... [img]eek.gif[/img] )

This must cost DW a fortune, especially when you consider Bozzio has about 4 replicas of the same kit in different continents!!!

That kit is stupidly insane! I know all of you guys who are trying to make a living playing the drums and fighting for gigs can't piss people off too much, hence all of the "I respect TB's playing..." But coming from someone who is not a pro but just loves playing, TB is a blowhard! Oh, it's diantronic and Chromatic or whatever BS he said....Puhhhhleeezz. Steve always says drumming is about making the music "feel good." You can't possibly play the "death star" without it being all about the drums. If he wants to try to prove how cool he is (and make up for certain other deficiencies } and play that thing for show, that's one thing, but please don't come to a real music gig with that over-blown POS!

That is a crazy syndrome... my ex brother-in-law has that. When he was 7 years old he was tested at a college-level science comprehension. He would read the encylopedia for fun, yet, when he was 11 years old he still couldn't spell. Seemed like a normal kid, just a 'little weird'... social problems as in you could buy him a Christmas present and instead of saying thanks he would tell you what country it was made in, or he might just start kicking you. Could be what Terry has, who knows!

It wasn't me but I promise I witnessed some kids in a bookstore once who broke out the slide rule on some sort of topographic, contoured playing board.
